At meyoume, we believe your health data belongs to you. We don't sell your information. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use it for anything except making your experience better.

What We Collect

To provide personalized coaching and tracking, we collect:

• Health Data: Weight, height, daily calorie goal, macronutrient preferences
• Nutrition Data: Meals logged, food items, calories, macros (protein, carbs, fats)
• Activity Data: Exercises, workouts, calories burned, water intake
• Fasting Data: Fasting windows, eating schedules
• Wellness Data: Mood check-ins, journal entries
• AI Conversations: Messages exchanged with your AI coach
• App Preferences: Vibe color selection, measurement system, notification settings

How We Use Your Data

We use your information ONLY to:

• Provide personalized AI coaching and recommendations
• Track your nutrition, fitness, and wellness progress
• Calculate calories, macros, and provide insights
• Generate charts and visualizations of your data
• Sync your data across your devices
• Improve app features and user experience

We do NOT:

• Sell your data to anyone
• Share your data with advertisers
• Use your data for marketing to third parties
• Train AI models for other companies

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase (a secure, SOC 2 compliant backend) to store your information.

Health data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. We implement strict access controls to ensure only you can access your data.

AI & Machine Learning

We use OpenAI's GPT models to power your AI coach. When you chat with the AI:

• Your conversations are sent to OpenAI for processing
• We include relevant context (your nutrition data, goals) to personalize responses
• OpenAI does NOT use your data to train their models (per our agreement)
• Conversations are stored securely in your account for continuity

Analytics & Diagnostics

We collect basic analytics to improve the app:

• Usage Analytics: Which features you use, screen views, session duration
• Performance Data: App crashes, loading times, errors
• Device Information: iOS version, device model (for compatibility)

This data is not linked to your identity and is used only for product improvement.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Database and authentication (SOC 2 compliant)
• OpenAI: AI coaching (GPT-4o, with no training on your data)
• Expo: App development platform (analytics only)

Each service has their own privacy policy and security standards. We only work with providers who meet strict privacy and security requirements.

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: View all data we have about you
• Export: Download your data in a portable format
• Delete: Permanently delete your account and all associated data
• Correct: Update any incorrect information
• Opt-out: Disable analytics or specific features

Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:

• All personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days

meyoume is intended for users age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
